As well as singing we finished off our Greek pots with our modern day twist today, see them in all their glory display outside Eagles class room.

🇬🇷Our Greek feast🇬🇷

Yesterday Eagles prepared, presented, cooked and eventually ate a superb feast of the finest Greek cuisine.

The menu:

Starter- Greek salad (check out their presentation!)

Main- Lamb Koftas with pitta bread and Tzatziki dip

Vegetarian main – Peppers stuffed with rice, chopped olives and feta cheese.

Side dishes- Olives and feta cheese

Dessert- Baklava

Well done to all the children for all their hard work throughout the day and a big thank you to all the TA’s who worked tirelessly throughout the day to prepare everything.

Undefeated Gastrells top the group!

After a rather wet afternoon of rugby at Archway school, Gastrells Y5/6 tag rugby team finished top of the their group, undefeated and heading to the finals after half term. Gastrells played superbly throughout scoring a range of tries demonstrating their outstanding handling and excellent lines of running. Perhaps more impressive though was their defence which was rarely broken, only conceding 3 tries all afternoon.
